Direct Transact provides a full outsourced managed ATM service which includes the ATM installation, monitoring of the terminals (including fraud prevention and detection); treasury and back office reconciliation, merchant management and merchant settlement (including fee management); helpdesk support/inter-bank query handling and cash management and balancing of each of the terminals.

Direct Transact has a large variety of ATM’s linked to the Postilion Switch. This service provides the acquirer with access into the National Interbank Switch as well as MasterCard and Visa in the acquiring of ATM transactions from card holders of other financial institutions. A variety of services such as withdrawals, balance enquiries, mini statements and airtime top-ups are available. Direct Transact’s service includes testing of the devices deployed by a Bank from the terminal through to the account hosting system of the Bank or the National Interbank Switch, through to the settlement process and daily reconciliation.

On-us transactions from these devices will be routed directly into the issuer’s account hosting system and not via the interbank switch, thereby reducing the transactional fees to the card holder and the issuer. At the same time the issuer has an opportunity to create an income from transactions done by card holders of other financial institutions.
